Coolant hoses and other engine bay rubber components are among the first to show age due to the rigorous heating and cooling cycles of an engine. This elbow connects the hard coolant supply pipe to the thermostat housing. If yours is leaking or your engine is starting to smell sweet, its time to replace your leaking hose.
*This part is designed for the FSI engine only. This can easily be found on the engine cover of your 2.0T VW/Audi. It will clearly be stamped FSI (not TFSI).
