This bolt secures the toothed belt pulley to the crankshaft, ensuring that the crankshaft pulley turns with the crankshaft itself. Recommended to be replaced any time they are removed as they are torque-to-yield hardware. Torque-to-yield bolts are intended for one-time use only, and must be replaced to ensure proper clamping due to the bolts ability to stretch for tightening.
