This valve is controlled by the computer and uses vacuum to open and close the secondary air injection (SAI) valves (combi valves). If you have an "insufficient flow" fault code, and your pump is okay, you may need one of these or the combi valves. When replacing the solenoid valve, it is also a good idea to replace the vacuum lines as well.
