The upper intake manifold gaskets are placed between the upper intake manifold and both lower intake manifolds to prevent air leaks that may affect the air-fuel mixture. A leaking intake manifold gasket will cause to poor fuel economy, higher emissions and poor engine performance. These gaskets are separated and require 10 pieces for a full set.
