The 3D-print bodyform full bucket seat (seat cushion and backrest) combines maximum functionality and individual design. The seat cushion and seat backrest of the full bucket seat already installed in the vehicle are replaced with new elements. These consist of a solid and energy-absorbing substrate, a 3D-printed elastic grille structure and a perforated Race-Tex cover. The grille structure and perforation improve both passive air conditioning and seat reset behavior. At the same time, the cushions have a weight saving of more than 8% compared to the standard production material, depending on the selected degree of hardness. A low seat position typical of motor sports, as well as increased lateral support thanks to a thigh cushion, provide an even more direct feeling for the track – for an experience similar to motor racing. The visible grille elements on the cushions and backrests are available in various colors as a visual highlight.
The 3D-printed bodyform full bucket seat can be installed and removed in just a few movements. Compatible with both 3-point and 6-point seatbelts. Incl. practical transport bag.
The choice of the hardness level of the seat cushion and backrest depends on individual feeling as well as the desired purpose (e.g. circuit or long-distance driving). It is recommended to compare the available hardness levels directly in the Porsche center. The following recommendations can be used as a guide:
- Soft hardness: Recommended for body weight up to approx. 175 lbs.
- Medium hardness: Recommended for a body weight of approx. 130 lbs to approx. 220 lbs.
- Hard hardness: Recommended for a body weight of approx. 155 lbs or more.
